High speed steel also known as tool steel is commonly used in cutting tool material. It is used in saw blades, cutters, drill bits, dies, etc. This material is high heat resistant and doesn’t lose its hardness over time. This material also cuts faster than carbon steel which is why it is has the name high speed steel.
